How does the name personalisation work?

All name personalisation is done by laser engraving — not printing or stickers. At checkout, simply enter your child's name in the personalisation field. We engrave it directly onto the product before dispatch. Because it's engraved into the metal, the name will never peel, fade, or wash off — even after thousands of dishwasher cycles.

Is personalisation really free?

Yes — always. We include free name personalisation on every single product we sell. There is no minimum order, no extra fee, and no hidden charges. Just add the name at checkout.

Can I personalise with a nickname or initials?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely. You can personalise with any name, nickname, or initials up to 12 characters. If you'd like a specific font style or placement, add a note at checkout and we'll do our best to accommodate.

What font is used for the engraving?

We use a clean, rounded sans-serif font that is easy for kids to read and looks great on all products. We do not offer custom font selection at this stage, but all engraving is consistently neat and professional.

Can personalised orders be returned or exchanged?

Accepted Answer

Personalised items can be returned if there is a manufacturing defect or if we made an error with the engraving. Unfortunately, we are unable to accept returns for change of mind on personalised products. Please double-check the name spelling at checkout.

Are your products BPA-free?

Accepted Answer

Yes. All our lunch boxes, water bottles, flasks, and tumblers are made from food-grade 304 stainless steel with BPA-free components. We do not use any plastic that comes into contact with food or drink.

Are the products dishwasher safe?

Accepted Answer

Yes. All our stainless steel lunch boxes and water bottles are dishwasher safe (top rack recommended). The insulated double-wall bottles and flasks should be hand-washed to preserve the insulation performance.

How long do the insulated products keep drinks cold?

Our double-wall vacuum-insulated bottles keep drinks cold for up to 24 hours and hot for up to 12 hours. Our triple-wall flasks keep hot liquids warm for 8 hours and cold liquids cold for 16 hours. Results vary depending on ambient temperature.

Are the lunch boxes leakproof?

Yes. Our bento lunch boxes feature a food-grade silicone seal around the lid and a secure clip-lock frame. When properly closed, they are leakproof and safe to pack in a school bag without a spill pouch. Each compartment is also individually sealed.

Do your products comply with Australian safety standards?

Yes. All our products comply with Australian Consumer Law and relevant ACCC food contact material standards. Our stainless steel is 304 grade (also known as 18/8), which is the highest-quality food-grade steel. No lead, no BPA, no phthalates.

Do you offer free shipping?

Yes — free standard shipping on all orders over $79 Australia-wide. Orders under $79 attract a flat $8.95 shipping fee. Express shipping is available at checkout for an additional charge.

How long does delivery take?

Standard shipping takes 3–7 business days across Australia. Express shipping typically arrives in 1–3 business days. We dispatch same-day for orders placed before 2pm AEST Monday to Friday.

Do you ship to all Australian states and territories?

Yes. We ship to all Australian postcodes including metro, regional, and remote areas in NSW, VIC, QLD, SA, WA, TAS, NT, and ACT. Remote area surcharges may apply to some regional and remote postcodes.

At the moment we ship within Australia only. We are working on international shipping and will announce when it becomes available.

How do I track my order?

Once your order is dispatched, you'll receive an email with a tracking number. You can track your parcel via the Australia Post or courier website.

What is your return policy?

We offer a 30-day return policy for non-personalised items in their original, unused condition. To start a return, email hello@kidsdecor.com.au with your order number and reason for return.

My item arrived damaged. What do I do?

We're sorry to hear that. Please email us at hello@kidsdecor.com.au within 7 days of receiving the item with a photo of the damage. We will send a replacement or issue a full refund immediately — no need to return the damaged item.

Can I exchange a product for a different colour?

Accepted Answer

Yes, we can exchange non-personalised items for a different colour within 30 days. Simply email us and we'll arrange the exchange. If the new item is a different price, we'll either charge or refund the difference.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex), PayPal, Afterpay (buy now, pay later), and Zip Pay. All payments are processed securely.

Can I change or cancel my order?

If your order has not yet been personalised or dispatched, we may be able to change or cancel it. Please email hello@kidsdecor.com.au as soon as possible after placing the order. Once engraving has started, we cannot change the personalisation.

Do you offer gift wrapping?

Accepted Answer

Yes — gift wrapping is available at checkout for $4.95. We'll wrap your order in tissue paper with a ribbon and include a handwritten gift card with your message.
